How is electrical force related to separation distance and charge?

You can adjust the magnitude of each charge and the location of charge 1 by dragging it back and forth. The charges and distance measurements are recorded in the table when you press Store Result.

Charge 1: Q1 = +μC         Charge 2: Q2 = +μC     Spring: k = N/m

Results: r = m          d = m

r (m)Q1 (μC)Q2 (μC)d (m)

Requires a browser capable of Scalable Vector Graphics. Use Firefox, Chrome, or IE-9+. It's only been tested on Firefox, so YMMV on other browsers.
